  Place value and Face value            In this section we will learn about Place value and Face value of a digit present in a number.            Place value of a digit in a number desribes its position in that number. Each digit has a place in a number. When we write a number in general form, the position of each digit is expanded. Those positions are ones, tens, hundreds, thousands, ten thousands and so on.   Face value:-                             Face value of a digit in a number is equal to the value of the digit itself at whatever place it is situated.                            In other words, Face value of  a digit is always equal to that digit.
